Gereghty, John 1941-2022
Marie announces with sorrow the death of her husband John in his 80th year on Saturday, January 1, 2022, at Health Sciences North, Sudbury, ON. Together they shared 49 wonderful years of marriage. Son of the late Jack and the late Margaret (née Burns) Gereghty. Survived by his sisters Nilah Nolin and Gwen Gunderson (late David) and brother Lloyd (Bonnie) Gereghty. Predeceased by his siblings Elizabeth (Beth) (late Jack), Dorothy Best, Fred, and Shirley. Beloved son-in-law of George and Gladys Premo, both predeceased. Dear brother-in law of Shirley Kindred (late John), Gladys (Les) Graham, Gary (Suzanne) Premo, Ron Premo and the late William Premo. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Prior to retirement, John was a long-term employee of Centra Gas (now Enbridge) as an area manager in field accounting.
Due to the pandemic, a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Cremation services entrusted to Simple Wishes of the North, Sudbury.
