Lang, John Edward 'Teddy'
In loving memory of John Edward 'Teddy' Lang who passed away peacefully in Sudbury on his 60th birthday, March 27, 2025. Predeceased by his parents, Robert (Bud) and Reta Lang. Survived by his sister Sandra. Much loved life partner of Anna Bertolo. Teddy is survived by Anna's children Jennifer (Daniel), Matthew (Victoria), Jacob (Chantal), Rebecca (Matt) and their children. He will be greatly missed by Anna's five sisters.
Teddy grew up in Copper Cliff. For Ted, enjoying the outdoors and being surrounded by nature was the best. His piece of paradise was the Flower's farm on the Vermillion River, where he would relax at his trailer. Hunting and fishing were two sports that made the perfect day outside but once indoors, watching a good game of hockey or a baseball match surrounded by friends was also a perfect day. Honest, respectful, loyal, quiet, reserved, these are qualities that describe him best. Among all things, it could be said that he was just a beautiful soul. Teddy was very proud to say that he had the best job on earth, working in Mineral Exploration with Magna Mining.
Anna would like to express her deep gratitude to the magical team at Magna Mining for their tremendous care and compassion in these trying times. Donations in Teddy's honor can be made to Maison McCulloch Hospice, Sudbury. https://maisonsudburyhospice.org/donate/
A celebration of life to remember this fine man will be held Thursday April 24, 2025, beginning at 4 pm at Copper Cliff United Church, 26 Park Street, Copper Cliff.
Arrangements in care of Simple Wishes of the North, Sudbury and Crystal Crematorium.
