Jonathan “Jon” Davis
1981 -2020
It is with a heavy heart that the family announces the passing of Jonathan “Jon” Davis at the age of 38 years. Jonathan was born December 19, 1981 in Sudbury and passed at his home in Webbwood on Wednesday, May 27, 2020.
Jonathan’s battles never ceased his willingness and desire to help anyone who needed him. Known in his hometown as the “Espanola Picker” and “Johnny Rigger,” Jonathan cherished antiques and gave new life to old bits. Amongst Jonathan’s many roles in the lives of his family and friends, the job of being “Uncle Jon” was by far his favourite and most cherished; a true calling. Jonathan’s kind heart was a gift to all who knew him; he found family in every place that he also found himself. His tireless devotion and sacrifice to care for his family weighs heavily in his absence but leaves behind lasting and treasured memories for all those he has left behind. Although Jonathan’s family and friends are saddened by the loss of a man, so loved, they can find comfort in knowing that after many years, Jonathan is finally reunited with his mom.
Predeceased by his mother Denise Davis [nee Perron]. Left to mourn is his father Richard Davis [Arleen Brandow]; his siblings: Greg [Patti], Charlene [Joce], Derek [Ken], Jayme and Danette [Ronnie]. Fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews: Abby, Lux, Maddox, Stevie, George, Ashlynn, Alaina and Blaine. Sadly missed by his special friend Lianne and her son Kelton.
