Daigle, Joseph Leo Melvin (1936 – 2025)

It is with sadness that the family of Joseph Leo Melvin announces his passing in Sudbury, Thursday August 21, 2025, at the age of 88 years. Devoted Husband of Annie May (Mills) predeceased (Jan 6, 2013). Father of Daniel Mills (Nicole), John Daigle (Eileen), Lily Daigle (Tim Stark), Mississauga and Andrea Audet (Len). Grandfather to Darryl and Michael Mills, Alexander and Cat Daigle, Amanda Ruttan and Lenny Audet. Predeceased by his Father Edmond Daigle and Mother Gertrude (Holland). Brother of the predeceased George, Vince and Eldon. As well as brother of Stella, Linda, Ronald and Geneva. Uncle to Marie Vautour (Blair) daughter of George Daigle and her daughters Natalie and Melanie Vautour as well as Uncle to Debbie Millar (Doug) and her children Billy and Colleen. Joe will be sadly missed by his other family members and numerous friends.

He had an infectious smile which always made you feel special and loved. He gave whatever he had to whoever needed it, he was kind- hearted and his hug made you feel safe. Love you Dad, forever.

Joe will be laid to rest in New Brunswick along side his wife Annie May.

A Celebration of Life will take place with family and friends.
