WARENDA, Joseph
In loving memory of Joseph Warenda who passed away in Sudbury, Wednesday December 11, 2024, at the age of 79 years. Son of the late John Warenda and of the late Violet Lipp. Loving husband for over 56 years to Catherine Warenda (Coulter). Precious father of Valerie and Tammy. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Nicholas, Caitlyn and Holly. Predeceased by his brothers Reverend Father Chester Warenda and Walter Warenda. Survived by his brother Johnny Warenda (Lois) and his family by marriage, Marg (Mike), Gerald (Ruth), Mary (Herb), and Laurie any many wonderful nieces and nephews. Joseph retired after a successful career with the Canada Revenue Agency. He spent his retirement puttering in his gardens, tinkering in the garage, doting on his grandchildren and meeting his regular coffee friends at Tim Horton’s in Val Caron. Always there when we needed help or some solid advice, he will be missed by many.
A funeral mass will take place Monday December 16 at 10:30am at St. Kevin's Parish in Hanmer, Ontario.
Cremation services provided by Simple Wishes of the North, Sudbury and Crystal Crematorium.
