Julie Gallagher
October 12, 1994 – November 1, 2020
Super heroes come in all shapes and sizes…Julie Gallagher, at the young age of 76, was the modern-day Wonder Woman that battled and conquered cancer four times. Unfortunately, on November 1st, 2020 a severe stroke ultimately took her life. All who crossed her path will without a doubt remember Julie. She impacted the lives of so many, taking on a motherly role to all those who knocked at her door. This multi-talented spitfire was selfless, forgiving and beyond generous. Julie lived a full life, starting out as a hairdresser, building a business by making cloth and porcelain dolls and ultimately teaching others her craft. She loved the outdoors, whether it be fishing, hiking, skiing, boating, or taking care of her extravagant flower gardens. Her biggest accomplishment was being a proud mother and involved Mimi (grandmother). Jaden, Jacob, Emma, Maddix and Jerrick will forever be the sparkle in her eye. Julie is also deeply loved and will be missed by her soul mate, Gerry Gallagher. After 52 years of marriage, they were an inspiration to all. Her son Jamie and his wife Cathy, along with her daughter Sandie and husband Bailey, aspire to follow in their footsteps. She will be deeply missed by several close friends and family.
As per Julie’s wishes, and due to the current pandemic, there will be no formal service or funeral. The immediate family will celebrate her life at their home on the lake in Whitefish Falls with a cold beer playing Skip-Bo.
