In loving memory of Justeen Leola Anstice (1929-2025) who died peacefully on January 12th. Justeen was predeceased in 2023 by Ron, her devoted husband of 70 years. Loving mother of Jim (Dorothy), grandmother of Esther and Alex (Caroline Black) and dear "Mama" to her cherished great-granddaughters Chloe and Emily. Predeceased by her sister Irene Van Horne and brother Fred Russell. Survived by brother-in-law Ken Anstice and sister-in-law Jeanette Stickles. Justeen was born in Sandfield on Christmas Eve 1929 to Bessie (Luscombe) and Alex Russell and grew up in Tehkummah. After a brief period employed in Toronto she returned to Manitoulin and married Ron in 1953. They worked side by side for many decades on their dairy farm, Oshadenah Holsteins, in Tehkummah. Thank you to the staff at Manitoulin Centennial Manor for the many kindnesses and gentle care.
