HUHTALA, Karen Eva
Karen Eva Huhtala Passed away peacefully at her home Thursday, May 6th 2021. Dear sister of Kristine Huhtala (Rick Ratchford) and Terry Huhtala (Melanie Gardin). Cherished step-daughter to Perry Huhtala. Aunt to Bradley, Mila, Juliana, Seija, and Elina. Karen was predeceased by her parents Rainer Huhtala (2005) and Shirley Huhtala (2006), her wonderful horse Hustler, and her loving cat Jazz. Karen was an extremely caring person who would go out of her way to help anyone in need and would share knowledge and guidance with anyone who would listen. Karen was a strong advocate for many causes, and she cherished all the friends she had in her life including those from Cecil Facer Youth Centre where she worked for many years. She was also a strong believer in the healing power of manuka honey and natural healing methods. We love you endlessly Karen and we will miss your fierce spirit and compassion for others. Cremation services provided by Simple Wishes of the North, Sudbury. In lieu of flowers please consider donations to Petsave on behalf of Karen as she was a true lover of all animals.
