Keith Noble
May 17th, 1959 – March 7th, 2026
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear Murray Keith “Runt” Noble on, March 7, 2026, at the age of 66. Keith passed away peacefully at the Manitoulin Health Centre.
Born to Harold Noble and Dorine “Renie” (McDougall) Noble on May 17, 1959, Keith filled our lives with love from the moment he was born.
Keith will be remembered for the joy, warmth, and kindness he brought to everyone who knew him. With his bright smile and genuine heart, Keith had a remarkable ability to lift spirits and brighten any room simply by being there. The youngest of five brothers and uncle to many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews, he cherished his family deeply. His positive outlook on life and simple wisdom reminded those around him to focus on the good and find happiness in everyday moments.
Keith found great joy in life’s simple pleasures. He loved music, festivals, community events, concerts and, most of all, socializing. He enjoyed hobbies such as curling, puzzle books, scratch tickets and faithfully watching his favourite television shows. Keith also loved to travel and share experiences with family. A foodie at heart, Keith was never late for a meal and delighted in sampling treats of all types. Sharing a meal with those he loved was always a highlight of his day. Known across the island for his friendliness, he greeted everyone with a smile and kind words, often brightening the day of friends, family and strangers he met on the street.
Keith’s humour, signature sayings, and unforgettable hugs left a lasting impact on all who knew him. Though he will be deeply missed, the kindness, laughter, and love he shared will live on in the hearts of those whose lives he touched. Keith will be missed beyond measure by staff, friends and fellow residents at Maple Terrace, Keith’s loving home for many years.
Holding his memory close is Keith’s best friend Amy, with whom he shared years of joy, laughter and adventure. Keith is survived by his big brothers Randy Noble (Meredith Chandler), Terry (Mavis) Noble and Jim (Theresa) Noble. He will be lovingly remembered by three generations of nieces and nephews. Keith was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Dorine Noble, his oldest brother Wayne (Seymour) Noble, sister-in-law Betty Noble and brother by heart Lloyd Neganigijig.
The Noble family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the incredible staff at Community Living Manitoulin for their ongoing care and compassion for Keith and our family throughout his life. Words cannot fully express how much we appreciate your tireless dedication and unwavering support. You have not just provided a home for him but an extended family. We would also like to thank the staff at Manitoulin Health Centre in Mindemoya for the exceptional care and kindness shown to Keith and our family.
A celebration of Keith’s life will be held on Saturday, April 18 from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm at
Freshwater Community Church in Mindemoya. The service will begin at 11:00 with a light lunch to follow.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Keith’s memory to
Community Living Manitoulin.
“He walked through the world in his own wonderful way—one of those rare souls who seemed to find joy everywhere and quietly leave it behind for others.”
