Bartolucci, Leona (1937 - 2023)
It is with heavy hearts that our family announces the passing of Leona (Poofy) Bartolucci. Mom was the glue in our family. Everything she did was out of her deep love for us. She leaves behind her husband, Marco Bartolucci, as well as her 5 children: Sylvianne (Peter Kohl), Monique (Tom Filgiano), Patricia (Ed King), Dan (Kelly Zanatta), and Mark (Lorraine Gareau). She will also be missed by her 13 grandchildren (Selina, Pamela, Lisa, Laurie, Ken, Marcia, Kevin, Janella, Brett, Brent, Dana, Marc, Denise), and her 9 great-grandchildren (Will, Emerson, Avery, Spencer, Carson, Aurora, Mila, Hannah and Nathan). She was born and raised in Sudbury. Leona enjoyed music and dancing, fishing, her flowers, her chickens, and taking care of others.
Thank you to the staff of McCulloch Hospice for the dignified care provided to our mom. As per Leona's wishes, there will be no funeral or visitation. If desired, donations in Poofy's memory may be made to McCulloch Hospice (www.maisonsudburyhospice.org or 705-674-9252).
