Leslie Ricketson

In loving memory of our beloved daughter Leslie Desneiges Ricketson. April 26, 1987 – June 25, 2026, at the age of 39.

There are no words that can truly express the heartbreak of losing our precious daughter Leslie Ricketson. She was more than a daughter – she was a light in our lives, a source of laughter, strength, and unconditional love. Her beautiful spirit touched everyone fortunate enough to know her, and the space she leaves behind can never be filled.

From the moment she entered this world, Leslie filled our hearts with joy. She had a smile that could brighten the darkest day, a heart that overflowed with kindness, and a gentle soul that made others feel seen, loved, and accepted. She embraced life with courage, compassion, and a unique sense of humor that brought comfort and happiness to so many.

Whether she was spending time with family, enjoying her favorite hobbies, sharing stories with friends, or simply offering a listening ear, Leslie gave of herself freely. She taught us the importance of love, resilience, and cherishing life’s simple moments. Those gifts will remain with us forever.

She leaves behind her loving parents, Daryl Ricketson and Nicole Michaud (Allan); her fiancé Jamie Ross; her siblings Jennifer, Lora (Nick) and Charles; her children Trinity Ricketson (Damian), Albert Savard, Al Ricketson-Savard, and Mercedes Ricketson-Savard; her grandparents John Ricketson (Diane); many aunts, uncles, cousins, dear friends, and all whose lives she enriched. Leslie is predeceased by her grandmother Pamela Haring. Also survived by her niece, Kaliyah, and nephews, Maverick, Max and Alex. While our hearts ache beyond measure, we are grateful for every moment we were blessed to share with her.

We will forever remember her laughter, her gentle hugs, her caring heart, and the countless memories that will live on in our hearts. Leslie was not the life of the party to her friends; she was the party. Though she is no longer by our side, her love surrounds us every day, guiding us and reminding us that she will always be a part of us.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
