Léonard Monette Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Leonard “Léo” Monette on January 5th, 2020 at the age of 85 years. Survived by his children Daniel Monette (Irene) Louise Monette (Dale Ribson), Roger Monette (Angele) and his grandchildren Renée, Eric and Meagan. Predeceased by his parents Augustin and Ruby Monette and his siblings François, Robert, Claude and Carolyn. Also predeceased by his children’s mother Alice Brais (née Pitre). Survived by his brothers Jean, Noel, Laurier, Yvan, Victor and sisters Angele Bizier, Collette Courchesne, Noella Bergeron, Estelle Gaudette, Madeleine Monette and Agnes Crichton.
The family would like to express their deep appreciation to the caring and compassionate staff at Health Sciences North Hospital and Pioneer Manor – York Wing. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. Arrangements in care of Simple Wishes of the North, Sudbury.
