Lynn Martel

Lynn Martel (April 8, 1956 - January 9, 2026)

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Lynn Paulette Martel, age 69 years, who peacefully left us on January 9, 2026, surrounded by love.

Lynn was born on April 8, 1956 in Timmins, Ontario, the cherished daughter  of the late Odette  and  Lucie Mageau,  She leaves  behind her  devoted husband Romeo  Martel, 

her  stepchildren  David  Martel and Celyne Rook, her daughter-in-law Christina Martel, her son-in-law Sam Rook, her beloved five grandchildren, her sister Denise Mageau and her nephew Steven West.

Lynn  was a  brave and  compassionate  soul whose kindness, warmth and gentle spirit touched the lives of all who knew her.

She filled our hearts with beautiful memories that will be cherished forever.

Though her presence will be deeply missed, Lynn will live on always in our hearts.

In keeping with her wishes, there will be no service.

In memory of Lynn, donations may be made to the Princess Margaret  Cancer  Foundation's  Ride  to  Conquer  Cancer,  in  support  of  her  step-daughter Celyne Rook, who will be riding in her honor.
