Margaret Turner (née Neale)
November 14, 1944 – October 12, 2020
It is with profound sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of Margaret Turner on October 12, 2020 at home at the age of 75 years.
Margaret is survived by her friend Andrew Bateman and predeceased by her husband Walter Almon Turner.
She is survived by her children Steven Turner (Joanne Jensen), Catherine Charron (Marcel) and Richard Turner. Grandmother to John Ryan (predeceased), Amanda Carruthers, Zachary Charron, and Alyssa Charron. Great grandmother to Samuel.
Margaret was the daughter of the late George and Kate Neale. She is survived by her siblings, David Neale, and Elizabeth Neale (Glen Mulley). She will be missed by her nieces and many friends.
Margaret was born in Doncaster, Yorkshire Great Britain. The family emigrated to Canada in 1955. She was a hairdresser for many years. After her husband died, Margaret worked for Woolco, Kiddi Kobbler and A&J’s Home Hardware until she retired. She also helped her friend Andrew Bateman with his business for many years. Margaret became care provider for her mother in-law Clara Turner until she passed away on October 6, 2020. Margaret loved to travel and spend time with family.
There will be no funeral as per her wishes. A celebration of life will be held at a later date due to COVID-19.
