1938- 2021

It is with great love and sadness that the family announces our mother’s passing at the age of 82 on April 7th, 2021. For those who knew her, Maria (Gaga) was the sunshine in the room and was always happy to see you and welcomed you with a huge smile.

She loved her family more than anything else in the world and loved to be with them for every celebration or just for Sunday dinner. She always had such a positive attitude towards life and whenever you asked her how she was doing, the response was more than likely “so far, so good”. She was kind and generous with everyone throughout her 82 years and has left a lasting impression with every person she met because of her good loving nature. She has left a huge void in our hearts and will never be forgotten by her children Tanja (Rob), Zvonko (Laura) and Gordana (predeceased). “Gaga” will be sadly missed by her grandchildren, Robbie, Loren, Vyla, Zoran, Zoltan and Vaida, who lovingly called her “Gaga” as did many others.

She has been reunited with our father (Zvonko) and sister (Gordana) in heaven, as well as her favourite little beagle “Gizmo”. We love you with all our hearts Gaga, Ti si moje sunce.

 As per Maria’s wishes, a Celebration of Life will take place with family and friends at a later date. Cremation services provided by Simple Wishes of the North, Sudbury.
