SMANIA, Marjorie Leona (1945 – 2025)
In Loving Memory of Marjorie Leona Smania who passed away in Sudbury, Wednesday January 22, 2025, at the age of 79 years. Dear daughter of the late Ester and Fermino Zuiani. Marjorie was the beloved wife of Gino Bruno Smania (predeceased). A Loving Mother to Kimberly Rocca (Tony). Cherished Nonna of Ashley, Antonio, Santino and Bianca. Cherished BisNonna to Noah. Sister to the late Diane St. Denis (Michel) and Barbara Senior (Paul). Sister-in-Law to Rino Smania (predeceased) (Mel) and Norina Smania (predeceased).
Marjorie was very active in her Little Italy Community. She cherished the many friendships she made Up the Hill. She worked at the Italian Club in Copper Cliff for over 40 years and was very active in the Bocce and Bowling Leagues at the Club. A great passion of hers was her Love for Knitting even though she rarely completed any project. Going to the Casino and her daily Scratch tickets also brought her Joy. Until they were no longer physically capable you would always find Marjorie with her Beloved Husband Bruno at Church on Sundays. It was very rare that you would see Marjorie without a Pepsi in hand but her true greatest passion was always her Grandbabies.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
