Mary Rose Scanlan (nee Thompson)
(January 25, 1940 – May 21, 2026)
It is with great sadness that the family of Mary Rose Scanlan (nee Thompson) announce her passing in Sudbury, on Thursday, May 21st, 2026, at the age of 86 years.
Daughter of the late Patrick Thompson and the late Julia Thompson (nee Giroux). Wife of the late John Scanlan. Loving mother of Sharon Kennaley and Trish Perreault (Rodney Wilcox). Cherished gram of Paul (Jessica), Samantha (Matt), and Leah (Jacob), and great-gram of Freya and Lochlan. Mary’s loving spirit and memory will be treasured by her remaining sister and brothers, nieces, nephews and extended family who will forever hold her in their hearts.
A celebration of Mary’s life will be announced at a later date.
Donations can be made in memory of Mary to the St Joseph Foundation (Sudbury)
