Mary Scott
May 27th, 1954 – April 1st, 2026
In loving memory of Mary Scott, who passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, in Sudbury, at the age of 71.
Mary was the beloved daughter of the late William and Maureen Scott (née McVitty). She was a devoted and loving mother to Cindy, Alex, and Ashley, who will forever cherish her warmth, strength, and unwavering support. Cherished Grandmother of Kayla.
She was a dear sister to John (Sharon), Ken (Sandra), both predeceased, Donald (predeceased), William “Bill” (Linda), and Kevin (Yvette). Mary will also be fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews; Kelly, Tricia, Jason, James, and Kelsey, as well as many extended family members.
Mary leaves behind many cherished friends whose lives were brightened by her kindness, laughter, and generous spirit.
Donations in Mary’s memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation (https://www.heartandstroke.ca/) and would be greatly appreciated.
As per Mary’s wishes, there will be no service or visitation. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Cremation and funeral services are provided by Simple Wishes of the North, Sudbury, and Crystal Crematorium.
