Mary Lois Tennant

The family announces with sorrow Mary's death in Sudbury on Monday, September 4, 2023, at the age of 66, after a brief but courageous cancer diagnosis.  Daughter of the late Allan and Lois (née Antoine) Tennant.  Survived by her brothers Grant (Vivian) of Kirkland Lake and John of Sudbury.  Predeceased by her siblings Ken (Pauline), Brian, Connie St. Marseille (J.J.), Ronnie and Barbara.  She will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews and friends.

Mary was an avid lover of nature and never missed an opportunity to walk the trails, always with her camera in hand.  She also enjoyed having bonfires while listening to her music (which was playing softly as she passed).

The family would like to thank the staff at Health Sciences North, 4th Floor, North Tower for their excellent care.

As per her wishes, cremation has taken place, and a private burial service will be held at the Kirkland Lake Cemetery on Friday September 15th, 2023 at 12pm, followed by a celebration of life at the Kirkland Lake Royal Canadian Legion.
