Michael “Mike” Grenier

February 1st, 1969 – February 28th, 2026

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the passing of Michael “Mike” Grenier, a proud father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. 

Mike’s legacy of strength, kindness and humour lives on through his daughters, Taylor (Derek) and Sarah (Adam). 

He was the loving grandfather of Allie, Hendrix and Ava. He will be deeply missed by his brothers, Robert (Sylvie) and Denis (Kimberly). He was the beloved “Uncle Mike” to Johnathon, Danielle, Shawnisty, Jocelynn, Corey and their families. Mike also leaves behind his furry companion Rex, who was always by his side. He was predeceased by his parents Rolly Grenier and Lucille Grenier (née Tessier). 

Mike was a jack of all trades, master of them all. He had the ability to revive any machine and had a talent for bringing his wild imagination to life. He was always mastering new skills and enjoyed sharing his vast knowledge with those around him. 

Much of his career was spent working with Hollaway Construction, where his attention to detail and expertise were valued and respected. 

Hardworking, creative, and unapologetically himself, Mike will be remembered for his enthusiastic storytelling, his knack for making everyone laugh and for never hesitating to lend a helping hand. He had a special gift for making everyone feel accepted, making even strangers feel like friends. 

Mike will be fondly remembered by all who knew and loved him. We will miss our adventures with him. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
