It is with sorrow that the family announces his death in Lively Friday, February 14th 2020 at the age of 48 years. Son of the late Ralph “Bud” and the late Ruth Ritari (née Lambert). Brother of Kathy Heikkila (Mark) of Worthington, David Ritari of Lively and Victor Ritari of Hamilton. He will be sadly missed by his niece Katelyn Ritari of Hamilton and his nephews Justin Heikkila (Danielle), Bryan Heikkila (Kristin) both of Chelmsford, as well as his great nieces and nephew Madison, Brooklynn and Alexander. Michael will be always be remembered by his life long friends Tracey Antonioni, Travis Strong and his BFF Sean Taylor and Kim Ritari as well as his many other family and friends. Mike was a mechanic for over 25 years at Jackson’s Auto Repair. He loved the family camp on Kukagami Lake and spent many precious moments there. He also liked snowmobiling, quading, fishing, dogs and spending time with family and friends. Mike was a die-hard Toronto Maple Leaf’s fan. He will still be watching them and now he has a front row center seat. The family wishes to thank Dr. Faulk, Dr Jani and the nursing staff at the Northeast Cancer Center.
