Michael (Mike) Timony

“They are not dead who live in the hearts they leave behind.”

It is with deep sadness Mike’s family announces his passing on June 20, 2020 in his 71st year. Mike leaves behind the love of his life, Anita Witterholt Koss, his 2 daughters Tiffany Garza (Roberto) and Kimberly Timony (John) and his son Jeremy “Buck” (Jill).  He also leaves behind his beloved grandchildren Allen, Elizabeth, Brandon, Jayden, Quinten, and Calvin. Son of the late Tom and Rose (née Fournier) Timony. Predeceased by his oldest brother Tom Jr.(Yvette). Survived by siblings Roger (Maggie), Joe (Linda), Andy (Barb), Rachel Charette (late Vern), Pat (Estelle), Bob (RaeAnne), June Langlois (Rheal) and Claude (Anne). Cherished uncle to many nieces and nephews and their children as well. In his final years, Mike was well cared for by the staff at Extendicare Falconbridge. His family wishes to express our gratitude to the team there who honoured his final days.  Mike spent many happy hours in the company of friends and supported by the staff of the Blue Door Café and the Samaritan Centre. In lieu of flowers, a donation to either charity would be appreciated. A private funeral mass will take place for family and close friends only. Cremation services by Simple Wishes of the North Sudbury.
