Myrna (Lamothe) Ouellette

OUELLETTE, Myrna (née LAMOTHE) (1940 - 2024)

It is with heavy hearts that we announce that Myrna Ouellette (née Lamothe) passed away peacefully at the Maison McCulloch Hospice on December 21, 2024 surrounded by her family. Myrna was born April 16, 1940 in Mattawa, Ontario.

Myrna was the beloved wife of the late Roger Ouellette and loving mother to Carole Ouellette (Marc Roy), Monique Belanger (Marc), and Richard Ouellette (Anne). She was the proud grandmother of Josée Belanger (Jason Coulombe), Martine Belanger, Joelle Ouellette, Zacharie Ouellette (Jillian), Natalie Roy (Bryce Whealon), Andrée Ouellette and great-grandmother of Hudson, Paisley, and Kalem. She leaves to mourn her siblings: Pauline Sloan (Harold, predeceased), Shirley Fournier (Reg), Paul-Émile Lamothe (Sue), Colleen Grieve (Ross), Michel Lamothe (Judy), Peter Lamothe (Carolyn), Wayne Lamothe (Gail),  Maureen Lamothe (Bruce, predeceased), Nicole Topolnicky (Al) and Jo-Ann Lamothe. She was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Cecilia (née McIsaac) Lamothe. Myrna was a much loved aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Myrna lived a full life surrounded by the love of her family. A special thank you to Mel of the Pioneer Manor and to Sophie of the Maison McCulloch Hospice, we are forever grateful for everything you've done for our mother and our family. In keeping with Myrna's wishes, cremation has taken place. A family and friends gathering will take place at a later date.  

Family was everything to her, so in lieu of flowers or donations, the family asks for everyone to have dinner with their loved ones. We leave you with this message: Mother's hold their children's hands for a while, but their hearts forever. We love you mom.
