Nicole Lalonde

It is with deep love and sorrow that we announce the passing of Nicole Lalonde (née Lavallee) who passed away peacefully in her 73rd year on July 24th, 2025, in the presence of her loved ones.

She was the beloved wife, best friend and soulmate of 55 years to Mike, loving Mom to Kim Irving (Jason), Bobbie Dubreuil (Patrick), cherished Gama of Bryce Irving and Mackenzie Blais (Ricky), and proud great-Gama of Ella and Mable. She is survived by her sisters Louise Gosselin (Gerry), Micheline Lavallee and her brother Gerry Lavallee as well as extended family Red (Pierrette), Claude, Guy (Lise) and Ricky (Nicole). She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.  

Nicole shared a deep bond with those she surrounded herself with. They brought joy, laughter, and lifelong companionship into her life. Among them, her grandchildren held an especially cherished place in her heart — her pride, her joy, and a reflection of all the love she so generously gave. Their connection remained strong through every milestone and memory, a true testament to the deep value Nicole placed on family.

Nicole lived her life with warmth, strength, and a quiet grace that touched everyone around her. She had a way of making people feel seen and loved, bringing joy wherever she went. Her words and her presence meant the world to her family. We’ll carry her memory with us always, in the stories we share, the lessons she taught, and the love she poured into all of us.

Family and friends are invited to gather at Paroisse St-Agnès in Azilda on Wednesday, July 30th, beginning at 10:30 a.m., followed by a service in Nicole’s honour at 11:00 a.m. The family warmly welcomes everyone to join them for a luncheon at Club Âge d’Or in Azilda to share memories and celebrate Nicole’s life.
