Tambeau, Normand (1946 – 2025)

In loving memory of Normand Tambeau, 78 years, passed peacefully Sunday, September 28th, 2025, at St. Gabriel’s Villa in Chelmsford with loving family by his side.

Beloved husband of the late Nicole Tambeau (née Morrissette). Loving father of Chantal (Robert Benoit) and Suzanne (James Golden). Cherished Pépère of Brock and Hannah. Dear son of the late Camille and Marielle Tambeau (née Camirand). Dear brother of the late Raymond (late Jackie) and the late Bruno. He will be greatly missed by his big sister Colette (late Ron Robillard). Norm also leaves behind beloved brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Norm was a miner for 35 years. Retired from Inco in 1999 to take his most esteemed position of Pépère. Norm adored his family and spending time with them, especially his grandchildren. He loved spending his summers at Windy Lake with Nicky by his side. Dad enjoyed fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, riding his 4-wheeler, and playing a game of cards. He was a quiet man who always appreciated a good laugh, a good tune, a good time and cheering on his precious Montreal Canadiens.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the entire team at St. Gabriel's for providing excellent care and support for our dad.

A graveside service will be held Monday, October 6th at 2 pm, at the St. Joseph Cemetery, 4533 Municipal Rd, Chelmsford, ON.

Cremation services provided by Simple Wishes of the North, Sudbury and Crystal Crematorium.
