Olivia Parry Obituary
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Olivia Parry. She passed at the age of 49 on November 17, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on April 25, 1975, in Moose Factory, Ontario, Olivia was the cherished daughter of Judy and Oliver Cheechoo. She was a devoted wife to Kevin, and together they raised three children: Liza(Scott), Rehanne, and Kiara, and were blessed with a grandson, Asher.
Olivia is survived by her brother, Darryl(Pam) Cheechoo and her nieces and nephews Amber, Blaise, Avery and great-niece Amirah as well as her sister-in-law, Lise.
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Olivia’s healthcare team for their compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Northern Cancer Foundation in Olivia’s memory.
A Celebration of Life will be held on November 30, 2024, at the N’Swakamok Native Friendship Centre from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. All who knew Olivia are invited to join in remembering her life.
Olivia will be deeply missed by all who knew her as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and friend. Her warmth, generosity, and spirit will remain in our hearts forever.
