Patricia Yarkie (1939–2023)

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Patricia Yarkie (née Arcand) in Sudbury Saturday, October 14th, 2023, at the age of 83 years. Daughter of the late David Arcand and of the late May (née Perrier). Loving wife of George Yarkie. Dear mother of Donna Leclair - Brisson (Daniel), David and Darren. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her grandchild Kyle (Toni) and her great grandchildren Alexander and Elizabeth.

Survived by her brothers Arnold (Helen), Ray and her sister Corinne. She will also be missed by her nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Patricia was a mother who was the rock and glue of her family. Sharing inspiring nuggets of wisdom through the years. She embraced life with a “you can do it” attitude.

The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the wonderful staff and administration of Pioneer Minor Nursing Home, who took wonderful care of Patricia.
