Patricia ''Pat'' Lawrence Obituary
In loving memory of Patricia Jane Lawrence, who passed away peacefully at Health Sciences North on April 5, 2020, after a very brief illness. Born July 12, 1936, Pat lived a life full of love in Sudbury, Ontario with her husband Jim of 61 years who passed away in 2017. Pat is survived by her three children Laurie, Deborah and Timothy, her nine grandchildren Kristine, Ashley, Michael, Trevor, Victoria, Alexandra, Nicholas, Eric and Tanner as well as her six great-grandchildren. Pat’s family will always remember her love and adoration. She loved baking and her freezer was always full of her specialties; chocolate chip cookies, scotcharoos and Nanaimo bars to name a few. Her grandchildren fondly remember her Christmas tradition of Christmas Eve pyjamas and playing endless hours of card games with the whole family. Pat was a very sociable woman, happy to chat to anyone, especially about the weather! She enjoyed meeting new people and staying close with life-long friends. The family is thankful for the compassionate care Pat received from Dr. Boissoneault, the team of doctors and nurses, as well as the staff at the Chartwell Westmount Retirement Residence during these difficult times. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
