Ricard, Paul (1975 – 2025)
With deep regret the family of Paul Ricard announces his passing in Sudbury, Thursday September 4, 2025, at the age of 50 years. Beloved son of Jacques Ricard and Joanne Ricard (née Robillard). Loving father of Brooke and Autunm. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grand-maman Pauline Roy-Deschamps. Loving brother of Julie Ricard (Dan Christner). Also survived by and fondly remembered by his nephews Brandon McLeod (Rachel), Joshua McLeod (Morgan) as well as by his aunts, uncles and cousins. He shared a special relationship with his matante Lou.
Paul Ricard spent most of his adult life as a dedicated diamond driller. He had a passion for working on cars and a deep love for the outdoors, finding peace in camping, fishing, and hunting. The tranquility of sitting by the fire and walking through the bush brought him immense joy. Football was his favorite sport and he was a loyal fan of the Atlanta Falcons. Paul also had a fondness for karaoke; he had a playful nature and love for making people laugh. He was known for his sense of humor and his knack for playing pranks, always bringing smiles to those around him.
Paul was a very caring and loving soul and would help anyone in need.
We will miss you Paul and will carry you with us until we can all be together.
A celebration of his life will be held at Club Accueil Age d’Or Azilda on Sunday September 14, 2025, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
