SIMON, Paul Henri (1933 – 2025)

It is with profound sadness and heartbreak that the family of Paul Simon announce his passing in Little Current, Thursday April 17, 2025, at the age of 91 years. 

Son of the late Herménégilde Simon and of the late Eugénie Simon (née Dionne). Loving and devoted husband of Jeannine Simon (née Legault) for an incredible 70 years filled with so many cherished memories. 

Cherished and loved father of Ginette (Pierre), Labine and Luc. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Lisa, Sylvie, Caleb, Kendra, Coyote, and Keenan, as well as great-grandchildren. 

Predeceased by his brothers and sisters, Lucien (Desneiges), Omé, Cécile, Jeanne (Reginald) Courchesne, Blanche (Joe) Girard, Matilda (Paul) Marcotte, Anna (Alex) Fex, Bernadette (Dave) Girard, Rose (Simon) Lamothe. Survived by his sister Irene (Clarence “Chick”) Cornish.

Paul retired after a successful 32-years of service with Falconbridge Mines. He was a man of conviction and hardworking, always providing for his family and wife. Paul was loved by everyone who met him!  His smile, his infectious charm and personality were admired by all who knew him and met him!  He will be missed by all, especially his daughter Ginette and son-in-law Pierre who were blessed to live and care for her mom and dad for the past 28 years!  

A celebration of his life will be announced at a later date.
