Pauline St. Pierre Obituary

St. Pierre, Pauline (née) Pilon 1946-2022

The family announces with sorrow her peaceful death in Sudbury on Tuesday, April 26, 2022, at the age of 75 years.  Pauline was born on June 18, 1946, in Ottawa.  Daughter of the late Gerald and Adeline Pilon.  She married the love of her life, André St. Pierre (predeceased in 2005), in May of 1967.  Adoring mother of Chantal (Clem Huard), Mark and Dan.  Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Ashley (Terry), Jaime (Matt), the late Justin, Brayden, and Joshua, and great-grandchildren Jaxon, Kaeden, and Rowyn.  Dear sister to Denise Long (Dave) and Roger Pilon (Jody).  She will be equally missed by many nieces, nephews, and her close circle of friends.

Pauline loved taking care of people, and this showed in her work as a registered practical nurse (RPN).  This career suited her servant heart.  Her life was a living example of the verse Ephesians 4:32: “And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ.”  Pauline was an active and dedicated congregant at both the Restoration Church and North Edge Community Church, and lived a life dedicated to her faith in Christ. She loved studying scriptures, leading bible studies and participating in many church functions. Most of all, she loved her family and friends. Her departure to her home in heaven will be felt deeply by many.

The family would like to thank the staff at HSN for the caring and compassionate support during Pauline’s final days. A Celebration of Life will be at the Restoration Church, 1621 Valleyview Road in Val Caron on Wednesday, May 25, 2022, from 5-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions toward her great-grandchildren’s future would be appreciated. Donations can be made via e-transfer to chantal-9@outlook.com. Cremation services provided by Simple Wishes of the North, Sudbury.
