It is with the utmost sorrow that the Lavorato family announces the death of a great man. Peter Lavorato unexpectedly passed away at home on Monday February 3rd, 2025, at the young age of 66. He is leaving behind his beloved wife Chantalle, his daughter Thea and grandchildren Lilly, Maeva, and Grace. Predeceased by his parents Solfina and Antonio Lavorato. He was the dear brother of Franco Lavorato, uncle to Samantha and Anthony Lavorato (Louisa) and great uncle to Sofia.
Peter was the kind of man that would give the shirt off his back to anyone who needed it but not without being given advice that you could forever carry with you. The joy he brought to those around him could only be measured by the laughter that ensued. Peter built a life he was proud of. His family was what he loved the most. Nothing brought him happiness like the presence of his granddaughters which he loved more than life itself. He will be deeply missed by all those whose lives he has touched.
Per his wishes, there will be no funeral service. A celebration of life will be held at the Nickel City Hotel at 252 Hazel Street in Sudbury on April 12th, beginning at 1PM.
Cremation services provided by Simple Wishes of the North, Sudbury and Crystal Crematorium.
