In Loving memory of René Zéphir Lavallée, 92 years, who passed away at Finlandia Village surrounded by family.
Beloved husband of Jacqueline Lavallée (predeceased). Cherished father of Shirley Hall (Mark). Treasured Pépère of Stephanie Lafond (Darryl) and Travis Hall and great-grandfather of Gibson and Parker Lafond. Loving brother of Germaine Lavallée (predeceased), Rita Legault (predeceased), Jeanne Lavallée (predeceased), Lorraine Brunet (predeceased) and Rhéal Lavallée (Effie).
René had a love for life that never wavered. If you ever had the opportunity to meet René he had way to make you feel special. René enjoyed spending his time outside collecting blueberries for his family. He was also heavily involved with the church. René was happiest surrounded by his immediate family, grandchildren and great grandchildren while spending time at the cottage on the French River.
A big warm thank you, to those who came to visit René before his passing, it meant the world to our family. René will be cremated and buried with his loving wife, Jacqueline Lavallée, at the Lasalle Cemetery.
