Reta (Alexander) Bock, 92.
Born April 26, 1933. Daughter of William and Ethel (Eadie) Alexander. She passed January 30, 2026 after a short illness at Mindemoya Hospital.
She married Herman Bock, who passed May 5, 1980.
Reta enjoyed knitting, embroidery, quilting, gardening, her church, spending time with family friends and different organizations she belonged to.
Survived by her two children Heather Tarr (née Bock) (Todd VanHoose) of Ohio, and Brian Bock of Providence Bay.
She will be missed by her four grandchildren, Philip Taflinger (Shawn), of Ohio, Heidi Taflinger, of Ohio, Scott Taflinger (Erin), of Ohio, and Brandon Bock of Guelph. As well as by her four great grandchildren, Skylar Tarr (deceased, May 2023), Isaac Taflinger of Ohio, Haley Taflinger of Ohio, and Cassidy Taflinger of Ohio.
She is also survived by a sister, Bessie Fitzsimmons of Newfoundland, as well as by several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her brothers Jim (Betty) Alexander, John Alexander, Albert Alexander and grandson Skylar Tarr.
We would like to thank the staff of Mindemoya Hospital for their care and support for Reta.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
