In Loving Memory of Richard Gilbert Nelson, Age 65 who passed away at The Maison McCulloch Hospice surrounded by his adoring family on January 19th, 2020.
He will be forever missed by his partner Denise Henri.
Loving father to Heather Nelson (Danny) and Jacqueline Whiting (Lonnie) and step father to Crystal Walker.
Proud Grampy to Owen, Richard and Jacob Arsenault, Autumn and Hunter Whiting whom he cherished.
He is survived by his brothers Wayne (Carol), Doug (Eva), Bill (Shirley) and his sister Pat Nelson (David).
We would like to express a heartfelt thanks to Dr. Walton and the caring and compassionate staff at Maison McCulloch Hospice.
He demonstrated unfaltering strength and good humor even in the last moments of his battle with cancer.
Words cannot express how much he is loved and how much he will be missed.
We will always remember you as our Gingerbread Man.
A celebration of life will take place on a family camping trip to Crooked Lake Lodge at a later date as per his wishes.
Donations to Maison McCulloch Hospice would be greatly appreciated.
