Richard Tessier (1949 – 2025)

It is with great sadness that the family of Richard Tessier announces his passing in Sudbury, Sunday November 16, 2025, at the age of 76 years.  Son of the late Jean Tessier and the late Eva Tessier (née Boupreault).  Cherished companion and fiancée of Suzanne Tessier (née Clement).  Father of the late Rodney. Stepfather to Derek Ducharme (Vicky).  Grandfather to Kazumi.  Predeceased by his former wife Jeannette Ducharme. Survived by his brothers Roland “Rolly” (Barb), Danny “Butch”  (Gloria) and Bobby (late Lucy).  Richard will be fondly remembered by his close friends, Bill and Francine Yasko, who held a truly special place in his heart. Richard’s absence will be deeply felt by those who loved him.

Richard was a dependable presence, known for his commitment to health and his love of fishing, billiards, and golf. He was always thoughtful, often going out of his way to help others—such as clearing a path through the snow for his neighbors so they could reach their cars, a kindness fondly remembered by those he assisted.
