In loving memory of Robert Harrington April 12,1939 – 2025
It is with deep love and fond remembrance that we announce the passing of Robert (Bob) Harrington, who passed away peacefully in Sudbury, at the age of 86.
Bob was the beloved husband of Therese, devoted father to Tom (Yvonne) and Carol (Robert). Proud grandfather to Jamie (Ted), Jennifer (Chad), Amy and Cory. Cherished great-grandfather to Jacob and Harper. Survived by his brothers Cliff, Lee, Bud and Chuck as well as by his sister Candi. Predeceased by his sister Marjorie and brothers Russell, Bill, Butch and Pat.
A long-time resident of Sudbury, Bob was known for his warm personality, sense of humor, and unwavering devotion to his family. He had a gift for making others feel welcome and a passion for life that touched all who knew him.
Bob enjoyed many pastimes, including cards and shuffleboard, where he earned the nickname, Kitchen Bob. He was a passionate fan of both NHL hockey and professional wrestling. He was a loyal fan of the Chicago Blackhawks and was a dedicated Sudbury Wolves ticket holder.
Above all, he was a family man whose greatest joy came from the time spent with those he loved. His legacy of kindness, laughter and love will continue to live on through his family and all who knew him.
The family extends their heartfelt thanks for the love and support during this time.
A private memorial service will be held for the immediate family.
