Robert Cecil Harrison
January 26th, 1950 – March 13th, 2026
It is with profound sadness and extreme heartbreak that the family announces
the passing of a wonderful Brother, Uncle, Neighbor and friend. Robert (Bob)
Harrison passed peacefully on March 13th, 2026, surrounded by his loving and
supportive family after a long, but courageous battle with cancer.
Robert was born in Kapuskasing, Ontario on January 26th, 1950, to Bill and
Estelle Harrison (both predeceased) and then he moved to Sudbury for
his formative years.
Robert was a loving Brother and a good friend to many. Loving Brother to James Harrison predeceased, (wife Audrey Harrison), Gary Harrison predeceased, (wife Jo-Anne Harrison), Sister Vicki Harrison, (Kimberly Narozanski).
He was a Favorite Uncle to Leslie Harrison (Phil Thibault), Jodie Harrison
Comtois (Phil Comtois), Jamie Harrison (Lisa Harrison), Shari Harrison & fondly
remembered by extended family members.
Also, lovingly remembered by his great nieces Kallista, Avery and his great
nephews Riley and Jaden.
Robert held a soft spot in his heart for Avery and Riley with whom he enjoyed
spending quality time with them in Garson.
He will be forever missed by his many cousins and network of friends.
Robert spent most of his career in the industrial wholesale shipping business in
Western Canada where he rose to the ranks of Lead Supervisor for over 20 years
and later in life joined the Toronto Team before coming back home to Sudbury.
Robert’s greatest love was his family, having and enjoying his fur babies, dogs
& feline friends, family holidays, fishing, cheering on his Canucks, celebrating
occasions with Buddies at the Nickel City “Nic“and lively conversations.
Robert was a great dog walker to his furry friends Lola, Brandy and Buster.
Anyone who knew Robert would appreciate his story telling, his great sense of
humor & wit, his kindness & passions that will be remembered by all who
knew him.
Thank you to his niece Leslie who was so helpful, especially the past few
months and thank-you to the great Doctors, Nurses, Support Workers at Science
North and to his favorite nurse Tammy.
Donations can be made in Robert’s memory to the Northern Cancer Foundation
and Sudbury Pet Save.
