Roger loved life and enjoyed everything he did from his hockey, broom ball, baseball and darts to camping, hunting and fishing. He also loved music and to sing. He worked at INCO, where in 1979 was injured in a Rock Blast. He then became a great stay at home dad to his children and grand-childern, becoming a great cook and even created his own dishes (Papa’s rice). In his later years he decided to drive school buses and took the challenge of driving special needs children. He loved it! Each and every child on the bus was like his very own. Roger was a kind and gentle person who touched the life of everyone he met in some special way and he will be missed by all. Due to Covid-19 a celebration of life will be held at a future date where we will share our memories and celebrate Roger’s Life.
