It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the sudden passing of Ronald Isidore Laflamme on Wednesday September 10th at the age of 75. Cherished son of the late Adrienne Laflamme (née Legault) and William Laflamme. Predeceased by Rollande Laflamme (née Poitras). Beloved brother of Cecil Ranger (Wanda), Murielle Laflamme Dubois (Yvon), Roger Laflamme (Jennifer) and Lise Larochelle (Léo). Loving father of Ronald Laflamme Jr. (Paulette), Lynn Gélinas (François) and Marc Laflamme (Michelle). Grandfather of Amanda Laflamme, Abby Isaac (Grant) and Maxim Laflamme. Great grandfather of Liam, Luna, Zuri and Vera. He will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews and also by his grand pups Poppy, Nala and Daisy.
Ron lived his life one party at a time. He worked hard in asphalt for over 50 years. He was always in a great mood with a quick joke. He loved spending time with family, always offering a cold Coors Light upon visits. Ron was a proud Habs fan, lucky enough to have watched 18 Stanley Cups get raised. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. He is now reunited with his best friend of 57 years Lloyd Grigsby, also known as Double Trouble.
As per Ron's wishes there will be no funeral. A celebration of life will be held at a later time.
Cremation services provided by Simple Wishes of the North, Sudbury and Crystal Crematorium.
