LEVESQUE, Ronald Lucien Joseph (1956 – 2025)
Ron leaves behind his loving wife of 51 years, Brenda (St. Michel) and two sons Kevin (wife Jody) and Ronnie (wife Leeann). He was a very proud Papa and will be terribly missed by Tanner, Emmaleigh, Kaeden, Karter, Koen and Jayda-Lyn. He was born March 3, 1956, in Sudbury as the second son to the late Lucille (Charron) and Gerald Levesque. He and his siblings Cookie (Uldege) (wife Colleen), Gilles (predeceased) (wife Lorraine), Toupie (Gerald Jr) (wife Lynn) and baby sister Colinne (Glen predeceased) created many great memories growing up together, both in Sudbury and out in the back roads of Mckerrow with the Bergeron family.
Ron was a man of many words. He had a larger than life sense of humour and was keen on getting his point across. He reminisced of stories of their childhood growing up with many Levesque cousins, aunts and uncles; all close by and visits right there in Levesque’s subdivision in Sudbury.
He held many professional roles over the years, Frapp was the Owner of the Levesque’s General store and Restaurant, delivery Driver at Brewers Retail, Driving Instructor, and a Miner at Elliot Lake uranium Mine all with a Grade 6 education. In his early adulthood Ron took the time and spent hours of effort into obtaining his high school diploma, which was always a very proud accomplishment. After these positions he found a passion in driving transport for a number of years, ultimately resulting with a shoulder injury, it was determined for him an early retirement. It did not take long for him to become bored and go house crazy so, Ron, along with family and friends built his garage. This was the space he spent many hours building and puttering around keeping himself busy with little creations his grandchildren will cherish for always. Tinkering and nick-nacking together whatever he could, with whatever piece of material he had laying around. Anyone could slip by asking to borrow either a tool, a hose, nut, bolt, pipe, wrench … Ron always found something to “make the request work” and help them out.
Webbwood was home, the gathering place for all friends and family from near and far. The store brought many visitors back time and time again over the years asking about Frapp. Everyone that knew him and his jolly, joking personality will miss him terribly. May he rest easy with those that have passed before him and give us a sign from time to time with some crazy antics so that we know it’s him.
