Ronald Shelswell (May, 15, 1959 - January 10, 2026)

It is with great sadness that we, the family of Ronald Shelswell, 66, announce his passing on January 10, 2026.

Ron worked as a Class 2 Stationary Engineer for Canadian Armed Forces base Borden until his retirement. Ron had a passion for trains, Doctor Who, Star Trek and sharing these with his loved ones.

Ron will forever be remembered for his easy-going demeanor and witty remarks. Ron loved to spend time with his loved ones, watching sports, cooking, reading, and relaxing with his fur buddies. Ron’s love for his family knew no bounds, his joy for his family was seen by all.

Ron is survived by his loving wife Linda; his children Amy (Darryl) and Chris (Mandi); his grandson Doyle; his siblings Lynda (Denis), Charlie (Vickie), Eric (Marg) and Karen. As well as his extended family of nieces and nephews.

Ron is predeceased by his parents Oakley and Irene Shelswell and his sister Wendy.

Keeping with his wishes there will be no service, however a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

The family would like to thank the nurses and doctors at HSN ICU for all that they do!
