SIMPSON, Ronald (1949 – 2025)

It is with heavy heart that we announce the passing of Ronald Paul Simpson, who passed away peacefully in Sudbury, on Friday January 31, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

Ronald was a cherished son of the late Delmar (Buddy) Simpson and Noella Simpson (Paul). A devoted husband of 54 years to Gisele (Leblanc) Simpson and beloved father of Bruce (Lise) and Melanie (Dan).  He was a caring brother of Pauline (Roy Brown) and was predeceased by his brother Bob (Sue). Ron was a proud grandfather of Hailey (Brennan McGregor), Reid, Rylan and a loving great grandfather of Lincoln (McGregor).

Ronald was known for his warmth, humor and love of life. A natural storyteller, he had a knack for brightening any room with a well-timed joke and hardy laugh. His social nature and generous spirit made him a treasured friend to many.

At his request there will be no service or visitation.

Rest in peace Ron your laughter and love will remain with us always.

Donations can be made in his name with the Lung Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
