Ronald Lyle Streich (Sept 13th, 1939 - Feb 26th 2025)
It is with much sadness that the Streich family would like to announce the passing of Ron Streich. Much loved husband of 62 years to Rochelle Streich (nee Reid), adored Father of Allyson (Peter) and Stephen (Jenn). Proud Poppa Ron of his three beautiful granddaughters, Taryn, Norah, and Elsa. Son of the late Jim and Vivian Streich.
Ron was a civil engineer, which afforded him a chance to work abroad for a few years in Saudi Arabia. From here, he took his family around the world and back, giving them the opportunity to discover new cultures and numerous countries. His wanderlust sated, he finally retired back to the Soo where he grew up, after trying his hand as owner of the North Shore Motel in Blind River. He will remain forever in our hearts.
