Russell Fowler

FOWLER, Russell (January 19, 1947 – April 30, 2025) 

It is with great sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of Russell Fowler on Wednesday April 30, 2025, at the age of 78 years. 

Russell is predeceased by his loving parents Ernest and Mary (Mulvaney). Loving husband of Carolyn (Reinguette), and dear father to Todd and Trevor.   

Predeceased by siblings Thomas (Annette), Margaret, Reta Berton (Richard) and Lillian Terriah (Richard/Albert). Survived by siblings Bill (Darcy), Theresa McKinney (Bob) and Barbara Bradley (Dan). Dear brother-in-law to Bonny Fownes (Wally) and Tom Bailey (Nadine). Russell will be deeply missed and cherished by many nephews, nieces, cousins, friends and his pet partridge Renegade.  

Russell touched many lives throughout his time working 30 years at Inco then retiring to Manitoulin Island for 30 years of hunting, fishing, gardening and bird watching. Russell always found the time and strength to support those he loved no matter what until the very end and touched the hearts of many.    

A celebration of life cold food potluck will be held for family and friends on Sunday June 8th, 2025, between 1pm-4pm at Coniston Curling Club (67 Fourth Avenue, Coniston/Facebook Event under Todd Fowler) to remember Russell’s generosity, perseverance, kindness and humour.
