Ruth MacLeod (Nee Kari)
December 10, 1932 – January 16, 2021
In loving memory of Ruth MacLeod (nee Kari) who passed away at Pioneer Manor on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at the age of 88.
Ruth was born December 10th, 1932 by her parents the late John and Ida Kari (nee Honkonen). Beloved wife of Calder MacLeod and loving mother of Stanley (Mary Lynn), David, Myles (Marlene), Lorna (Doug Pitt), Ida (Dan Chevrette), John (Nancy), Wanda (Billy Carriere) and Alex (Laura-Lee). Lovingly remembered by 14 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Sadly, missed by Her sister Viola Fahey (John predeceased) and many nieces and nephews. Ruth’s greatest joys were spending time with family, puzzles, playing bingo and going to the slots. The family wishes to thank the staff of the Poplar floor at Pioneer Manor for all the care and friendship provided to Ruth. A celebration of life in honor of Ruth will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Forever Caring Tree at Pioneer Manor Sudbury (Only cash or cheques accepted). Cremation services provided by Simple Wishes of the North, Sudbury.
