It is with broken hearts, the family of Steve Kirkland announce his sudden and unexpected passing on December 25th, 2021 at the age of 53. Steve leaves behind the love of his life, Marley. As well as his two children whom he devoted his life to Tyler and Alyssa. Also left to mourn are his loving parents Richard and Lorraine, siblings, Richard (Josephine), Lynda (Rob), Heather (Cole) and Jennifer (Mike). He will be greatly missed by his in-laws Cyril and Jackie Stryde, Wayne (Sophie), and Sandra (Paul). Lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephews, RJ, David, Oliver, Nolan, Kendyll-Jo, Everett and Evelyn. Steve’s large group of friends are left to carry on his memory by enjoying his favourite things…Golf, Football, Beer Drinking and Music.
He was the “Crazy” piece of our family puzzle. We will miss his quirkiness, his stories, his laughter, his generosity and his good heart.
Memorial service in the Arbour Room – Northbury Hotel and Conference Centre, 50 Brady Street, Sudbury, on Sunday, January 2nd, 2022 2-4pm. (Proof of full vaccination and face masks are mandatory). Casual attire is requested for the service, please wear what you are most comfortable in, no suits or ties. No flowers please, in lieu you may make Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or E-Transfer for Tyler and Alyssa’s Education Funds to KirklandEducationFund@bell.net. Cremation services provided by Simple Wishes of the North, Sudbury.
