A celebration of life will be held on Sunday December 7, 2025
at Westside Village Apartments - Hospitality Room
99 Dow Drive, Sudbury, from 1:00pm to 5:00 pm.
Donations can be made in her name with the Sudbury Food Bank
Taunya Martel (1985 – 2025)
The family of Taunya Martel is profoundly heartbroken to announce her passing. Tragically, on the morning of November 5, Taunya was taken from us in an unthinkable motor vehicle accident. Born November 20, 1985, she was the beloved daughter of Kimberly Martel and John Kotyluk; dear sister and best friend to Robert Kotyluk; cherished mother of Dakota Martel. Her untimely passing has cast inconsolable grief upon us. Taunya was the granddaughter of Rosalee Martel and the late Larry Martel. She will be deeply missed by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Taunya had a unique talent in nail art and makeup application. She loved the great outdoors and enjoyed fishing and catching frogs since her youth. With a heart of gold, she was always there for anyone in need, putting others before herself.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
Cremation services provided by Simple Wishes of the North, Sudbury and Crystal Crematorium.
