Lalonde, Thérèse (née Carrière) 1932-2021
The family announces with sorrow her death in Chelmsford on Saturday, December 25th, 2021, at the age of 89 years. Daughter of the late Alexandre Carrière and of the late Florine (née Lamothe). Wife of the late Aza Lalonde. Dear mother of Michel (Nicole), André (Pierrette), Claude, Guy (Lise) and Ricky (Nicole). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Kim, Bobbie-Jo, Joddie, Nathalie, Camille, Victoria and Alexie as well as her 5 great-grandchildren and great-great-granddaughter. Sister of Claire Carrière and Diane Perdu (Vern). Predeceased by her siblings Roger (late Jeannette), Léo (late Jeannine), Cyril (late Rita), Arthur (Thérèse) and Réjeanne Malette (late Rosaire). Thérèse was a very active member in her community of Azilda participating as a member of (FFCF) Fédération nationale des femmes Canadiennes-françaises and the Club D’age D’or in Azilda as well as being an avid bowler. She especially enjoyed spending her summers at the trailer. Family will receive friends on Saturday, January 15th, 2022, at Ste Agnes Church, Azilda after 10:00am. A funeral mass will follow at 11:00am. Cremation and funeral arrangements in care of Simple Wishes of the North, Sudbury.
