Vicki Wright (nee Matthews) (1957 - 2025)

In loving memory of Vicki Wright (nee Matthews) who passed away Monday, December 29, 2025, in Little Current, at the age of 68 years. She passed away peacefully with her family at her side. Beloved wife of Donald Wright. Loving mother of Ryan (Tanya) and Brad (Anya). Proud grandmother of Zack (Aaralyne), Aaron (Mikayla), Aria, and great grandmother to Claude. Predeceased by her parents Blake and Eva Matthews, brothers Ron and Dave, and sister Tamara. Survived by Lynda (Jim) and Lisa. Vicki will be remembered lovingly by her brother and sisters’ in-law, nieces, nephews and many close friends.

 Vicki was a very loving wife, mother, and grandmother that put her family first. She stayed at home to raise her two boys until they were older and then worked various jobs until retiring. Vicki and Don then moved to Manitoulin Island, which was a place that she cherished. She was a devoted member of Lyons Memorial United Church and was passionate about giving back to her community by volunteering and helping with various boards and committees. Although her time with us was taken away, her impact and love will never be forgotten.

 A service will be held at Lyons Memorial United Church, at 11:30 January 3rd for friends and family.
